The story

Documents are where many processes stall: the form that needs filling, the files that need joining, the invoice that needs producing again. PDFops turns those operations into dependable building blocks.

It offers a hosted HTTP API and browser tools for filling forms, combining documents, inspecting fields and generating invoices. For the systems that increasingly do the work, it provides integration paths through MCP for AI agents, n8n for automation workflows, and Python for developers.

What it does today

  • Hosted HTTP APIFill forms, combine documents, inspect fields and generate invoices.
  • MCPAn integration path for AI agents.
  • n8nUse document operations inside automation workflows.
  • PythonAn integration path for Python developers.
  • Browser toolsRun common operations without writing code.

Where the thesis is being explored

Infrastructure for companies where agents do the work.

If one-person companies depend on systems carrying capacity, those systems need dependable parts. PDFops explores that layer: small, precise operations that agents and automations can call without a human in the loop.

It is also a test of whether developer infrastructure, usually a team sport, can be built and operated by one person with care.

  • What makes a tool reliable enough for an agent to depend on?
  • How lean can an API business run?
